Our aims and values!
Our goal is to make sure that the teenagers of South West London, no longer feel alone. We want them to know that, at Young People Involved, we’ll provide the support they need, whenever they need it. We understand that it takes a lot of strength to ask for help, which is why we’re always willing to proceed at your pace. We won't rush you or force you to do anything you don’t want to. With your best interests in mind, we will simply advise and support you on how best to tackle your issues. Even for individuals that do have the courage to ask for help, many don’t have the support they need to make progress. So, at Young People Involved, we’re not just focused on providing practical support, but we equip young adults with the tools they need to look after their well-being. Most importantly, we equip young adults with the tools they need to successfully live their best lives.
Our aim is to empower individuals to get their voices heard and to make a positive difference to their community. As a young person it’s not always easy to be aware of your own mental well-being so it can easily get neglected. What’s more concerning, is that they’re unaware of the consequences that come with neglecting their welfare. Which is why we’re focused on ensuring that young adults don’t reach a crisis point. If young adults are equipped with the right tools, they can withstand the trials of being a teenager and “pay it forward”, by supporting their friends too. At Young People Involved, we’re huge advocates for optimism. Even in the face of struggle, we always remember to celebrate the progress made by any teenager. It's important that young adults feel encouraged and that they are made aware that even the smallest step, is still progress.
